Hey everybody. I'm Julia and I'm 19 years old, on 20 in 3 months, which kinda scares me. Hah. That's kinda weird, because I joined DA when I was 13 or 14. I'd like to think I've come a long way since then. I'm currently in college & I have a (shitty) job as a cashier/server at a deli, and soon I hope to either get a better one, or just a second one. It's been awhile since I've submitted anything & even longer since I've updated my journal.
So here I am, posting this just because.
So far my senior year sucks balls. We have a new, strict principal, who pretty much won't let us do anything but breathe. I've barely made any new friends. In fact, I've probably lost more than I've made. I'm also stressed about college (SAT, applications, where I choose to attend, etc.). My family is also moving soon, which really isn't bad, but the process of moving is stressful, especially considering we have nine days to move & I've just started packing. Alright, well David and I broke up. But it's all good. I'm just taking advantage of my singleness right now. :)
And I don't feel like typing an update right now, so here's what I wrote in my LiveJournal:
"Well, so far, my summer's been pretty fun. I've been hanging with my mom and sister more. A few days ago, we saw Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants together. It was good, but it confused me. And then the other day, we went to the zoo. We hadn't done that since I was a looot younger. The zoo experience was kind of fun. I'm not sure if I should have felt young for going to the zoo, or felt old for being around so many little people. Oh well.
